Weber Valley Multi-Use Youth Center

Weber Valley Multi-Use Youth Center

Building on the success of early intervention strategies, as in lieu of tradition detention, JRCA Architects was task with developing the Program and Design for the new Weber Valley Multi-Use Youth Center. The design realizes the Division of Juvenile Justice’s goal of creating a Multi-use Facility that reinforces restorative justice, facilitates trauma informed treatment, and avoids the traditional Adult Detention image. The facility provides a ‘one stop’ location for youth, families, and law enforcement including:

  • Secure Detention Housing

  • Non-Secure Residential Housing

  • Early Intervention/Diversion/Day Treatment

  • Case Management

  • Transition Services

  • School Educational Services

  • Physical Fitness and Recreation

  • Centralize Intake/Receiving

  • Administration

  • JJS Training
