South Ogden Municipal & Justice Center

South Ogden Municipal & Justice Center

JRCA Architects guided South Ogden City in design and construction of a new municipal center. JRCA Architects provided programming and design services for the City of South Ogden’s Police, Fire, and City Hall. JRCA Architects and the City studied several alternatives in meeting the needs assessments recommendations. This included re-utilization of existing facilities and the master planning of the downtown area. Security, flow, and operational efficiency were a high priority in the design.

The municipal center houses the fire station, police, courts, and administrative functions. The design provides departmental identify and separation within a unifying image. The form of the building establishes a strong presence for the seat of government on a very prominent corner in the city.

The facility serves the following functions:

  • City Administration & Public Services

  • Development Services

  • Community Assembly Space

  • Law Enforcement

  • Justice Court
