Pleasant Grove Fire Station and Justice Center

In early 2017, Pleasant Grove City, together with JRCA Architects, began the design of the city’s new Headquarters Fire Station and Justice Center. With the support of the citizens through a successful bond election and funding raising campaign, JRCA conducted model facility tours, conducted staff and citizen workshops to finalize the space program, and facility design. Through JRCA’s public safety facility experience and our “right-sizing” the overall area of the buildings were reduced by several thousand square feet.

JRCA also assisted in the selection of Big-D Construction as the construction manager/general contractor. JRCA has worked together with Big-D Construction and the city, to create the final project phasing, project budget, and finding a temporary location for the fire department, allowing early demolition of the existing building, and creating an improve final design.

The new Facilities include:

  •                Headquarters Fire Station

  •                Justice Court

  •                Police Headquarters

  •                Multi-Purpose City Council/Community Meeting Room

                          Justice Center                   25,908 S.F.
