Springville City Public Library

Springville City Public Library

Springville City was in need of a new home for the community’s library facilities, and was commitment to implementing a retail library model, a central avenue, and main circulation spine. Springville is known as the ‘art city’ and this created an opportunity for art display to be integrated throughout the building.

A strong visual connection from the interior to the adjacent Hobble Creek was created through large windows overlooking a pedestrian green space adjacent to the creek. High performance glazing with exterior sunshades were paired with radiant heating and a displacement cooling system to produce excellent energy and efficiency.

  • Retail Model Design

  • Automated Material Handling System (With Drive-Up Drop-Off)
